Minimum qualifications:

The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Help set the strategy and roadmap for several large and ancillary services.
  • Support the existing production infrastructure by managing an oncall rotation, capacity planning, and onboarding new devices.
  • Migrate traffic to newer protocols capable of managing the latest conversational user journeys.
  • Deprecate and reduce the footprints of legacy protocols and services.
