About The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion while ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently.

This role requires strong people management skills, including providing mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations to engineers, as well as tracking team performance and supporting professional growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Operations, to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Senior-level knowledge and experience with at least one of the following: C++, Ruby on Rails, or React
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing people
• Experience providing mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations to junior engineers
• Strong proactive problem-solving skills, including the ability to research resources, documentation, and conduct testing independently
• Ability to debug and optimize code, as well as automate routine tasks
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, and Objective-C

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• 5+ years of professional experience working with technologies listed in the minimum qualifications
• Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android)
• Experience with web development
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating system internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration or networking concepts (e.g., routing, SDN)
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience designing and developing software focused on systems or network automation
