    Description:What You'll Be Doing:

    You'll step into the role of Software Integration Engineer, driving the full technology development lifecycle-from system and software design to collaboration, automation tooling, infrastructure upgrades, and seamless software integration. You'll work across a diverse set of host environments, including aircraft software, high‑fidelity simulators, and lab setups that blend constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system‑level models.

    Your Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop, integrate, support, and debug cutting‑edge software across multiple platforms.
    • Own and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, ensuring builds are fast, reliable, and reproducible.
    • Champion virtual development labs and aircraft‑software workflows, keeping them nimble and user‑friendly.
    • Design and build automation frameworks using a mix of open‑source, commercial, and in‑house tools-letting you experiment with the latest technologies.
    • Engage daily in scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demos, sharing progress and learning with the team.

    Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
    • Experience programming in C++ and/or Java
    • Experience developing software on Linux
    • Experience with simulation software environments

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
    • Experience with Real-time software development and integration
    • Experience programming in Python
    • A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems
    • Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons
    • Experience with Open Mission Systems
    • Experience leading software projects

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
