Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Project Manager III to lead our GEN AI projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including backend architecture, front-end design, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating with both IT and business teams, including Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Product Managers, to ensure the successful execution of project goals. This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days in the office weekly in the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee GEN AI projects across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between backend architecture, front-end design teams, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to ensure alignment and integration of strategies.
- Provide weekly status reports and present to the steering committee.
- Track and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and MS Project to track work progress.
- Adapt to changing project priorities and manage adjustments smoothly.
- Apply agile methodologies and sprint processes to manage the project lifecycle.
- Drive process improvements to enhance project outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of energy and proactivity in managing project tasks.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, driving the project towards speedy delivery.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in project management, preferably with a focus on AI or technology-related projects.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and sprint processes.

Preferred Hours of Work: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Locations: Willis Tower, Hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly in the Chicagoland area).
Travel Requirements: Rarely, about 5-10%. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted by the Director and another manager.

Pay Range: $60 - $65
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
