Title: Software QA Tester

Location: 100% Remote




Need prior experience working for Government Education industry or other educational institutions.

Candidates must reside inTexas or live in Central Standard Time Zone.



Responsibilities:
The Software QA Analyst performs advanced computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

This position will work with the project development teams to provide the following Software Testing Services:

1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
2) Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
4) Perform manual testing and data validation
5) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
6) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
7) Execute performance and accessibility testing
The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the Texas Education Agency.

3	Required	Experience using GitHub CoPilot or other AI Tools to generate Test Scripts
3	Required	Year Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
2	Preferred	Work experience with Atlassian JIRA
2	Preferred	Work experience with Zephyr
1	Preferred	Experience working closely with TEA or another state or local agency
1	Preferred	Experience working with Educator Prep Program and partnerships
1	Preferred	Experience with Educator Certification
