Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software (AI) Test Engineer with expertise in AI-enabled test automation, Selenium, Python, Generative AI, and automation framework development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing intelligent automation solutions that improve software testing efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
This role will focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), GitHub Copilot, Databricks, Python, and modern automation technologies to accelerate test script creation, enable self-healing automation capabilities, and optimize quality engineering processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams, develop scalable automation frameworks, integrate AI-powered solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile software development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium and Python.
- Develop AI-driven automation solutions utilizing Generative AI, LLM technologies, GitHub Copilot, Databricks, and related tools.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing Python-based automation frameworks to enhance test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
- Build and optimize automated testing solutions for complex web-based applications.
- Leverage AI models to accelerate automation script generation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and self-healing capabilities.
- Create, prepare, and manage complex test data sets to validate application workflows, business logic, and error handling.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and automated testing activities while documenting results and defects.
- Verify fixes, analyze testing outcomes, and recommend improvements to enhance software quality.
- Develop and implement automated testing strategies following BDD/ATDD methodologies using tools such as Cucumber.
- Support CI/CD automation processes using tools such as Jenkins or cloud-based build platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, business teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective testing solutions.
- Train technical team members on execution, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AI-enabled automation solutions.
- Create technical documentation, training guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Candidates selected for interviews may be asked to demonstrate examples of relevant AI-enabled automation work.
Required Skills/Education:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Development.
- 5+ years of specialized experience developing AI-powered automation solutions or working with AI-enabled development tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Python Automation Development
- AI/Generative AI Solutions
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- GitHub Copilot
- Visual Studio Code
- Databricks
- Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying automated testing frameworks.
- Experience developing automation scripts using Selenium, TestNG, SOAPUI, or similar testing tools.
- Experience with Java/Ruby-based automation frameworks and framework development preferred.
- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience testing enterprise-level web-based applications.
- Knowledge of BDD (Cucumber) and ATDD testing approaches.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, build automation, or cloud-based deployment processes.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative automation solutions.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and support complex technical initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered based on role requirements.
