Software Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team of professionals. The position involves partnering with our sales team to demonstrate the value of our data products, translating client needs into technical solutions, and supporting the sales process with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present and demonstrate our data products and platform capabilities to prospective and existing clients

• Partner with the sales team to understand client requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions

• Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical evaluations for prospects

• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and prepare technical documentation supporting the sales process

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and inform the product roadmap

• Troubleshoot technical questions from clients regarding data integration, APIs, and platform usage

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in computer science, business, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, solutions consulting, or related technical role

  • SQL or similar querying experience

  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration methods

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling presentations for non-technical audiences.

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

• Ability to learn new tools, platforms, or product offerings quickly.

• Experience in handling multiple client engagements and with specific deadline requirements.

• Willingness to collaborate in a team environment across sales, product, and engineering.

• Experience working with large amounts of data or multiple databases is a plus.

• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.
