Responsibilities:

• Lead solution/application architecture for medium to large engagements.
• Deliver technically sound projects across multiple customers within company standards.
• Define architecture for large engagements and act as its design authority.
• Design solutions involving multiple tech components after scoping out requirements for large engagements.
• Identify and institutionalize best practices across multiple accounts.
• Provide thought leadership in conceptualizing the need and design of assets.
• Perform architecture design review and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Conduct planned and unplanned technical audits for complex projects.
• Provide inputs to teams for training and identify training needs.
• Support technical evaluation of external and internal candidates.
• Identify alliance partners and maintain relationships.
• Define problem statements for customers and analyze application/technology landscape.
• Interact and engage with customers/partners around new innovative ideas and industry trends.
• Develop collaterals for proposals and conduct workshops at client sites.
• Ensure alignment of high-level architecture with existing client needs and business logic.
• Proactively identify and manage technical risks.
• Build credibility with the client as a technical go-to person.
• Identify potential opportunities for new service offerings.

Requirements:

• Experience in architecture concepts and principles, including system integration and non-functional areas.
• Knowledge in multiple technologies (Java/Microsoft) and frameworks (Struts, JSF, Hibernate, etc.).
• Understanding of design patterns, tools, and principles.
• Thorough knowledge of end-to-end SDLC process (Agile and Traditional).
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.
• Specialized knowledge of estimation and resource planning techniques.
• Ability to create documentation appropriate for project needs and reusable assets.
• Capability to carve out complex solutions/POCs based on customer needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Domain/Industry knowledge and understanding of standard business processes.
• Broad knowledge of technology trends related to multiple inter-related technologies.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of project management processes and governance frameworks.
