The Software Test Engineer II tackles the challenge of delivering high-quality, reliable wireless software across complex, multi-application environments to ensure a seamless customer experience. This role addresses critical system bottlenecks by designing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test strategies for GUI, services, and database validation. By integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, this position resolves software quality risks early in the development lifecycle and accelerates the delivery of business-critical features. Collaborating with a globally distributed team, this engineer bridges the gap between software development and stable production deployment through rigorous testing and proactive issue resolution.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test scenarios to validate GUI, services, and databases against complex system requirements

  • Build, maintain, and optimize robust automation scripts integrated directly into CI/CD pipelines to drive continuous regression testing and rapid feature deployment

  • Leverage AI tools and automated log analysis to identify failure patterns, speed up test cycles, and isolate root causes of software anomalies

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on advanced automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices

  • Collaborate seamlessly with globally distributed development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and resolve production bugs swiftly

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)

  • Proficiency in industry-standard test automation frameworks and tools, with practical exposure to Selenium, Maven, and ReadyAPI

  • AI literacy and application skills, specifically the ability to utilize generative AI tools to accelerate test cycle processes and perform sophisticated log analysis

  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, encompassing functional, non-functional, end-to-end, and regression testing in Agile/SCRUM environments

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective technical mentorship, leadership, and collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams and partners

  • Critical experience in executing data validation, database testing, and quality assurance across multi-platform enterprise ecosystems

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years of experience in software test engineering or related quality assurance roles

  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:

    • Test automation tools and frameworks (such as Selenium, Maven, or ReadyAPI)

    • Database testing and data validation processes

    • Agile/SCRUM methodologies and CI/CD pipelines

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
