We are seeking a hands-on Software Test Technician to support a high-volume software testing and validation project. This position will primarily focus on executing established manual test cases, accurately documenting results, identifying defects, and working with the engineering team to ensure software quality.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on software testing experience who enjoys working through structured test procedures and troubleshooting issues in a technical environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Execute a high volume of established manual software test cases
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Accurately document test results, failures, and unexpected behavior
Identify, reproduce, and report software defects
Retest software following bug fixes and updates
Follow established test procedures and maintain consistent testing quality
Set up and work within software/hardware test environments
Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues
Assist with basic test automation when experience allows
Track testing progress and communicate issues or blockers

Qualifications

1+ years of software testing, QA, or software test technician experience
Hands-on experience executing manual test cases and documenting results
Understanding of functional, regression, integration, or system testing
Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail
Experience with defect/bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar
Comfortable working with software in a technical or hardware-integrated environment
Ability to follow detailed test procedures while maintaining accuracy and productivity
Experience with Python, Selenium, or other test automation tools is a plus, but not required
