A leading Global Biotech Company is seeking an experienced Software Test & Verification Engineer to join an agile Software Development Team within Pathology Lab R&D in Tucson, AZ. This role will be vital in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test cases to ensure software quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in software development and testing including experience testing software that interfaces with or controls physical hardware systems.
  • Strong understanding and experience with software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance).
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting language used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., PlayWright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and test management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience using AI tools to perform automated test planning, development, execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and training junior team members.
