Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Software Tester with strong experience leading projects and supporting the development of test plans. This is a full time, long term contract role working onsite with an exciting team in Columbia, SC!
The Software Tester will be responsible for working with business teams to develop test plans, cases and scenarios as well as the execution of manual and automation testing to support the successful delivery of enterprise applications and code enhancements.
Duties:
- Collaborate with Business System Analysts, using business requirements to design test plans in order to best deliver successful products.
- Design and execute test cases and scenarios using manual and automation testing tools to include Selenium and ALM.
- Execute functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
- Track bugs in JIRA, actively participating in debugging to streamline delivery. Working with developers to ensure code can meet production timelines.
- Identify opportunities in development processes and in the code for product improvements, making recommendations to the development team and senior leadership.
- Participate in daily stand ups.
- Create detailed testing documentation.
