Understand and articulate business and technical problems addressed by the product / AUT
Break down complex requirements into clear, testable scenarios
Experience
15+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
Experience in Agile/Scrum, test & defect lifecycle, and test management tools
Comfortable leading testing strategy across large programs Test Strategy & Quality Leadership
Define testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test schedule
Drive testing across Component, Integration, UAT, and Production phases
Set the direction and tone for quality delivery across multiple teams
Identify test data needs and create mock / synthetic test data as required
Automation & Technical Skills
Proficiency in at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Cucumber, IBM RFT, etc.
Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Data-Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model)
Hands-on scripting experience using Python or Core Java
Working knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
Experience in Vibe coding
