Job Description
Title – Software V&V Lead
Location – Rockford, Illinois (onsite only)
Experience – 10 years relevant years
Visa- US Citizens & Green Card Holders
Must have DO-178B and Embedded C/C++ or Integration testing or Verification and Validation or embedded systems skills.
For V&V role please take DO-178B/C as mandatory skill .
Mandatory Skills:
- Around 10 years experience in Building instrumentation, SCA (Structural Coverage Analysis) Build creation and Coverage analysis
- Aerospace domain experience is mandatory
- DO-178B and Embedded C/C++ or Integration testing or Verification and Validation or embedded systems
- 6+ years experience in RTRT tool usage for SCA activities
- Strong experience of Software Testing methodologies, including Black-box, White-box, and boundary value analysis.
- 6+ years strong experience with DO-178B/C standards and their application in software verification processes
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in avionics systems (e.g., C, Ada)
- Experience with software testing tools and frameworks for unit, integration SSIT and HSIT), and system level testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects
- Strong documentation and communication skills to clearly articulate test results and findings
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
- Experience in working within a regulated environment with a focus on safety-critical systems
- Experience on Configuration and change management activities using tools like Synergy CM/Change, Polarion/SVN
