We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Technician with ATTI Certification to join our team in Phoenix. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects through rigorous on-site testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in standard test methods and a commitment to maintaining accurate, professional project documentation. Key Responsibilities
Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of standard test methods (ASTM/AASHTO) for all tests performed by a field technician.
License: Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
On-Site Testing: Perform standard field tests on soil, concrete, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain neat and orderly project documents, including test reports, field data, and professional correspondence.
Technical Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager and Supervisor regarding all aspects of field operations.
Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain specialized testing equipment, ensuring all field data is recorded accurately.
Required Qualifications & Education
Experience: 15 years of previous experience specifically in soil and concrete testing.
Pay: $20-$28 plus per diem
Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of standard test methods (ASTM/AASHTO) for all tests performed by a field technician.
