Solar Electrician

TradeWorX is hiring additional journeyman-level electricians for a high-priority solar construction project in the Wilcox, PA area. This need is primarily for experienced electricians who can work independently and contribute immediately, with limited construction laborer openings also available. Start is ASAP. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately one month with potential for extension.

Pay & Overtime:

• Prevailing-wage project
• Journeyman electrician total pay package approximately $78/hour
• Exact base wage and fringe allocation confirmed during qualification
• Laborer compensation based on applicable prevailing-wage classification
• Overtime availability and applicable rates based on project schedule

Schedule:

• Onsite in the Wilcox, PA area
• Start ASAP
• Approximately 1-month initial assignment
• Potential for extension

Job Duties:

• Perform journeyman-level electrical installation on an active solar construction site
• Complete assigned electrical work independently and to project requirements
• Support installation, wiring, equipment, and related solar field electrical activities
• Read and follow applicable plans, layouts, and supervisor direction
• Maintain safe work practices, productivity, and quality standards
• Coordinate effectively with field supervision and other trades

Requirements:

• Journeyman-level commercial, industrial, or solar electrical experience
• Ability to perform standard electrical construction tasks with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to the Wilcox, PA area
• Ability to work outdoors in active construction conditions
• Must complete required background-check and drug-screening processes
• Must be available to start quickly and commit to the expected project duration

• Proven journeyman-level electrical construction experience
• Able to explain and demonstrate independent ownership of electrical work
