Solar General Laborer

Moss, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025, is hiring Solar General Laborers to support our growing solar project in Hollandale Mississippi. If you’re hardworking, dependable, and interested in learning a trade in the solar industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Starting Pay: $20/hour

A Typical Day

• Working outdoors with a construction crew
• Assisting with site preparation, material handling and clean up
• Assisting with the installation and assembly of solar components as directed. 
• Learning how solar projects are built
• Using basic tools and equipment
• Keeping the job site clean, organized, and safe

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from the project site
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Commitment to safety and teamwork

• Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the workday
• Work safely in various weather conditions

This position requires frequent physical activity in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds and may occasionally be required to handle loads exceeding that amount with assistance. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise levels, and extreme temperatures.
