Description

Job Summary (Solartis Architect) List Format

- Serve as Solution Architect specializing in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance with a focus on commercial lines and the Solartis Insure platform.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Azure, ReactJS, and .NET technologies.
- Oversee integration of Solartis with enterprise applications, including REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and other Azure Integration Services.
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex) to enhance productivity and prioritize AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Break down business requirements into technical tasks and user stories; participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- Set technical standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture compliance, performance, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage and document API contracts, data models, event schemas, and integration patterns; validate through comprehensive documentation.
- Coordinate system interface specifications, data flows, and communication protocols between applications.
- Communicate technical vision, risks, and project progress to architects, project managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure solutions follow CI/CD, cloud architecture principles, and infrastructure automation standards.
- Support applications across the full policy lifecycle, including submission, quoting, endorsements, renewals, and audits.
- Utilize expertise in BPMN 2.0, jBPM rule flows, Knowledgebase servers, and plug-ins for database access, mail, and document generation.
- Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of commercial lines insurance (Workers' Comp, Audit, Auto, GL, Property, Packaged Policies).
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders using strong communication and business language skills.
- Work independently in a remote capacity; preferred location is East Coast or Midwest.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- (Nice to have) Experience with SaaS platforms.
