EMS Solutions is looking for a Solder Technician to join our growing team in Ogden. If you enjoy working with electronics, solving problems, and producing high-quality work that makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay: $18/hr - training provided
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday 6a - 4:30p - Friday overtime as needed

What You'll Do
As a Solder Technician, you'll play a critical role in building and inspecting electronic assemblies used in a variety of applications. Your work will help ensure our products meet the highest quality and reliability standards.
In this role, you will:
- Perform surface mount and through-hole soldering
- Inspect component placement, polarity, and solder joints
- Conduct first article inspections
- Rework and repair circuit boards as needed
- Operate soldering and inspection equipment
- Maintain IPC workmanship standards
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Help identify improvements and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- IPC-A-610 Certification (or ability to obtain)
- J-STD-001 Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Electronics assembly or manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
This position requires fine motor skills, visual inspection of small components, and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and follow all PPE and ESD requirements.
