Through-Hole Soldering TechnicianThe Through-Hole Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling electronic components using a soldering iron. This position is suited for candidates with soldering experience who are looking to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment. Hours 7am-3:30pm with overtime as neededKey ResponsibilitiesPerform manual soldering of through-hole components using a soldering ironInsert and secure components into PCBs according to assembly instructionsFollow schematics, diagrams, and written work instructionsInspect solder joints for quality, identifying common defects such as cold joints or bridgingRework or touch up solder joints as neededMaintain soldering tools and ensure proper temperature and tip conditionFollow ESD and safety procedures at all timesKeep work area clean and organizedRequired Skills & QualificationsBasic hands-on experience with soldering (through-hole or similar)Ability to use a soldering iron safely and effectivelyUnderstanding of basic soldering concepts (heat control, proper joints, etc.)Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
