The Through-Hole Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling electronic components using a soldering iron. This position is suited for candidates with soldering experience who are looking to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment. Hours 7am-3:30pm with overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual soldering of through-hole components using a soldering iron
Insert and secure components into PCBs according to assembly instructions
Follow schematics, diagrams, and written work instructions
Inspect solder joints for quality, identifying common defects such as cold joints or bridging
Rework or touch up solder joints as needed
Maintain soldering tools and ensure proper temperature and tip condition
Follow ESD and safety procedures at all times
Keep work area clean and organized
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic hands-on experience with soldering (through-hole or similar)
Ability to use a soldering iron safely and effectively
Understanding of basic soldering concepts (heat control, proper joints, etc.)
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
