Job Title: Electronic Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling a variety of electronic sensors and components, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering on circuit boards, wiring and cabling, and mechanical assembly of complete units. You will follow written and verbal instructions, use a microscope to perform precise soldering, and progressively cross-train in other general assembly and testing areas as you gain experience with the product line.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble a variety of electronic sensors and related components according to written work orders and verbal instructions.
+ Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering on circuit boards using appropriate tools and techniques.
+ Attach wires, cables, and harnesses to circuit boards and other assemblies following blueprints and schematics.
+ Carry out mechanical assembly of complete units, ensuring all parts fit and function correctly.
+ Use a microscope to perform detailed and precise soldering of sensors and small components.
+ Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions in English to complete assigned tasks accurately.
+ Utilize basic computer navigation to access and follow electronic work instructions displayed on a monitor.
+ Operate hand tools and assembly equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume production environment.
+ Cross-train in other general assembly and testing areas to support different stages of the production process.
+ Maintain quality standards by inspecting work, identifying defects, and making corrections as needed.
+ Work collaboratively on an assembly line with other assemblers to meet daily production goals of 100–200+ units.
Work Environment
You will work on an assembly line alongside approximately 5–8 other assemblers in a high-volume production setting, building 100 or more units per day, and on some lines 200 or more. The role follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You will regularly use microscopes, hand tools, and computer-based work instructions to complete electronic and mechanical assemblies. The dress code is casual, with a requirement for closed-toe shoes and no loose clothing to support safety and comfort on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
