Solder Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Shift: 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $24- $26/ hour
Job Description
The Solder Technician installs electronic components into various circuit board assemblies according to the process or documentation provided. Solders components and assemble to printed circuit boards utilizing a soldering iron. Additionally, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components.
Responsibilities
- To meet customer requirements using IPC A-610 standards
- Reading schematics and other technical manuals to fully understand how to perform various tasks
- Installing components onto printed circuit boards using hand tools such as screwdrivers and soldering irons
- Testing electronic devices to ensure they are operating properly
- Maintaining a safe working environment by wearing appropriate safety equipment such as goggles, gloves, and masks as needed
- Following safety procedures and regulations regarding chemical use and disposal
- Communicating with other technicians, engineers, and clients regarding project status and issues

Requirements
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Ability to work with miniature to large components that may require visual magnification.
- Requires manual dexterity with fine motor skills along with high visual acuity
- Maintain ESD Integrity within production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
