Job Title: Soldering Technician

Shift: mornings
Pay range $21.00-$30.00 DOE
Location: San Fernando Valley

Summary:
The solderer is responsible for performing precision hand soldering and assembly of printed circuit board assemblies in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Soldered critical components onto high-reliability circuit boards in compliance with IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
•Maintain high levels of efficiency while identifying and recommending process improvements
•Support quick-turn production requirements to ensure timely delivery
•Perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a proactive approach to learning
•Consistently deliver results in accordance with established commitments and deadlines
•Work overtime as required to meet production demands and deadlines
•Collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement quality and performance enhancements

Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Fundamental English speaking, reading, and writing skills
•Demonstrated ability to solder high-reliability circuit boards in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
•Capable of adapting to daily workflow requirements and shifting production priorities
•Proactively contributes new ideas to support continuous improvement initiatives
•Willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives
•Exhibits integrity, strong character, and a disciplined, results-driven work ethic
•Possess a detail-oriented professional with a positive attitude and a solutions-focused mindset
•Ability to follow both verbal and written work instructions accurately and consistently
•Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
•Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and documentation
•IPC-J-STD-001 Certification (with Space Addendum preferred)
•IPC-A-610 Certification
•NASA 8739.1 & NASA 8739.4 Certifications
