Pay Rate- $14-$18 based on experience and certifications.
What is Soldering?
Soldering is a joining process used to join different types of metals together by melting
solder. Solder is a metal alloy usually made of tin and lead which is melted using a hot
iron. The iron is heated to temperatures above 600 degrees Fahrenheit which then cools
to create a strong electrical bond.
Job Description: Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly
operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and
sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering
and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding
tolerances to blueprint specifications.
