Our client is seeking a Soldering Training Specialist to develop and deliver hands-on technical training for manufacturing employees. This role is responsible for ensuring team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform soldering and assembly work safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards. What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs focused on soldering, assembly, and manufacturing processes
  • Coordinate training schedules based on staffing needs and production priorities
  • Lead classroom and hands-on training covering soldering techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training materials and delivery methods
  • Maintain accurate training records to support company and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with department leaders, HR, and subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Support new hire onboarding through technical orientation and job-specific instruction
  • Assist with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or technical training within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a Training Administrator, Training Coordinator, or similar training-focused role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, quality systems, and workplace safety
  • Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and electronic assembly, including terminals and through-hole components
  • IPC certification is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to adapt training to different learning styles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders across multiple departments
