Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architectural design, integration, and ongoing support of the technology ecosystem that powers our global sales function. You will lead the strategy and technical execution for in-field sales force automation (SFA) tools, category management platforms, and order entry systems.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain the overarching architecture for our sales technology stack, ensuring seamless data flow between SFA tools, category management applications, and backend ERP/order management systems.

  • Platform Administration: Serve as the primary technical owner and system administrator for our CRM system, managing configurations, user profiles, security, custom objects, and workflows.

  • Sales Function Enablement: Partner closely with Sales and Commercial leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, specifically focusing on optimizing retail execution, route planning, and mobile order entry for field teams.

  • System Integration: Lead the technical integration of third-party category management tools and external data sources with core CRM and ERP platforms to provide a 360-degree view of retail customers.

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the highest level of escalation for complex technical issues within the sales tech ecosystem, ensuring minimal downtime for field personnel.

  • Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Evaluate new sales technologies, manage technical vendor relationships, and ensure platforms are utilizing the latest features and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Solution Architect, specifically supporting Sales, Commercial, or Go-To-Market (GTM) functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience architecting and administering Salesforce ecosystems, with specific, demonstrable expertise in Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud

  • Data & Integration: Strong understanding of API integrations, middleware (e.g., SAP BTP, MuleSoft), and data modeling as it pertains to syncing field applications with centralized order entry and ERP systems.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the FMCG/CPG industry, with a deep understanding of field sales processes, retail execution, and trade promotions.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical sales stakeholders and vice versa.

  • SAP Ecosystem: Hands-on experience designing or integrating solutions with SAP Sales Cloud (highly desired).

  • Certifications: Relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Application Architect, or specific CG Cloud credentials).

  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment for continuous platform delivery.

  • Mobile Architecture: Experience dealing with offline-first mobile architectures typical in field sales environments.
