Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Java Architecture, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Angular UI development, along with a proven track record of leading enterprise application delivery and production operations.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Solution Architect job responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and operational support of enterprise Java applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

• Architect and oversee microservices, API management, cloud integration, and modern application modernization initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership across Java, Angular, cloud-native, and enterprise platform development teams.

• Design and implement solutions utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including deployment, monitoring, optimization, and operational governance.

• Drive adoption of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, SRE teams, and development teams to deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 9-12 years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or application delivery roles.

• Strong expertise in:

• Java Architecture

• Enterprise Application Development

• Angular UI Development

• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Microservices Architecture

• API Management

• Experience designing and supporting highly scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IT Infrastructure Consulting and Enterprise Technology Strategy.

• Solution Architecture experience across large-scale enterprise environments.

• Strong background in Production Support, Operations Management, and Incident Response.

• Experience implementing AI/ML-powered capabilities, including Generative AI solutions within enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of AI governance, security controls, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI deployment strategies.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
