Solution Architect Director Riverside, CA (onsite) 3+ Months Contract Summary Client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PPDS Solution Architect Director to lead the implementation, support, and optimization of production planning and detailed scheduling solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PPDS solutions, ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA PPDS solutions across client environments Design and support Production Planning and Quality Management processes within S/4HANA Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document manufacturing requirements Translate business needs into scalable functional and technical SAP PPDS solutions Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications, process flows, and solution architecture Configure PPDS capabilities including production planning, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling Ensure integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM Support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis for performance optimization Deliver user training, documentation, and post-go-live support Work independently and within global cross-functional teams Requirements 6+ years of experience in SAP PP / QM 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS Proven experience in PPDS implementation and support projects Experience migrating legacy planning tools to SAP S/4HANA Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, and scheduling processes Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams SAP S/4HANA PPDS Production Planning & Quality Management Detailed Scheduling & Capacity Planning SAP PPDS configuration and customization Integration with SAP MM, SD System testing and troubleshooting Functional and technical documentation Experience in discrete or batch manufacturing industries Exposure to SAP IBP or SAP APO PP/DS migration Knowledge of MES or shop floor system integration SAP S/4HANA PP or PPDS certification Basic knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and Warehouse Management Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
