Solution Architect

Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Solution Architect with our client in Golden Valley, MN.

The Solution Architect is the senior solution design authority responsible for defining, governing, and assuring solutions across the Oracle and non-Oracle Cloud ecosystem. This role provides strategic design leadership across multiple programs, business groups and technologies, ensuring alignment between business strategy, cloud platform capabilities, and long-term architectural design goals. This role owns solution design governance, standards, and decision frameworks, and serves as the final escalation point for design risk, cross-program consistency, and complex design decisions across Oracle and non-Oracle cloud platforms, integrations, data, security, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution design for cloud applications across teams and systems
• Define current, transition, and future solution designs aligned with business goals
• Ensure consistency by reusing standard design patterns
• Set and maintain solution design standards, principles, and governance
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and easy to support
• Lead enterprise integration strategy, APIs, and data ownership models
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Work with business and leadership to align technology with business needs
• Explain complex technical ideas in simple terms for leadership
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Mentor architects and promote best practices and knowledge sharing
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve solutions
• Bring strong experience in cloud architecture, integrations, Oracle platforms, and enterprise systems

The base range for this contract position is $90.00 - $120.00 per hour, depending on experience; pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.”
