Locations: Charlotte, NC (Local Only)
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $55-$60/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking a Solution Architect with 6–8 years of experience to design and deliver enterprise-scale technology solutions for banking applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in solution architecture, Java-based microservices, AWS cloud technologies, enterprise integration, and modern application design. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures.
• Define application architecture across UI, backend services, databases, and integration layers.
• Design and implement API-based integrations and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and DevOps practices.
• Design workflow orchestration and business process automation using BPMN and workflow frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership during solution design, development, deployment, and production support.
• Review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Support application modernization initiatives and cloud migration strategies.
• Work closely with banking stakeholders to deliver enterprise technology solutions.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Application Development.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with Python development.
• Knowledge of API Management and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience designing multi-tier applications (UI, backend, database).
• Knowledge of middleware technologies and systems integration.
• Understanding of BPMN, workflow orchestration, and business process automation.
• Experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and enterprise security standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Banking or Financial Services clients.
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience leading technical delivery and architecture discussions.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS Certification or Architecture certification is a plus.
