Solution Architect

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Solution Architect for their Johnston, RI location.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Evaluate technology options and recommend the best approach
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Lead architecture reviews and obtain governance approvals. (ARB)
• Guide implementation teams and provide architectural oversight

Requirements:

• Top 3 skills required for this role:
• Experience in distributed systems and technical/application architecture
• Partner with engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects throughout delivery
• Create solution architecture diagrams and design documentation and Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, scalability, and performance requirements
• A strong Solution Architect should be able to
• Develop and present Solution Approach documents .
• Define application impacts and deployment targets
• Align solutions with enterprise roadmaps and standards
• Provide architecture guidance across multiple teams and vendor
• Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners,EOs, and business partners to ensure successful delivery

• Some of the technical requirements which is not limited to: Technical Skils:
• Distributed systems and application architecture
• Cloud platforms (Azure. AWS.) . API and integration architecture
• Event-driven architecture (Kafka. messagina platforms)
• Data architecture and database design
• Security and identity management . Infrastructure and networking fundamentals . DevOps, Ci/CD, and deployment patterns
• Disaster recovery and resiliency design
