Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise architecture strategies, designing scalable employee technology solutions, and driving modernization initiatives across HR, Finance, and business platforms.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Solution Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps that align technology strategies, business objectives, security requirements, and operational goals across HR, Finance, and employee technology platforms.

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions leveraging platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure to enhance employee experience.

• Establish architecture standards, integration patterns, API strategies, and data flow designs to support enterprise-wide technology initiatives.

• Lead cloud modernization, application rationalization, and technical debt reduction efforts while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture best practices.

• Evaluate and recommend AI, automation, and emerging technology solutions to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and employee productivity.

• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, and stakeholders to provide architectural guidance, support solution delivery, and ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Master's degree or relevant cloud/architecture certifications are preferred.

• 8-10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or IT Consulting, with at least 3+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions.

• Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture, cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure), integration strategies, infrastructure architecture, security, networking, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience providing architecture guidance for platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365, with the ability to drive modernization, AI-enabled solutions, stakeholder alignment, and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
