Steer the development of electrical circuit diagrams by providing feedback to designers. Review output or supplier design documentation that requires electrical circuits and components. Plan, schedule, and supervise progress on design work packages and provide feedback to management to ensure target deliverables are met and within the overall project schedule. Process and understand contractual and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and personnel safety via circuit separation or shielding, grounding, sizing of components and wire/cable. Understand lithium battery technology as it pertains to railway including associated scientific properties, integration, and risks.Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Solution Architect-related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:1. Utilizing electrical based CAD tools.2. Developing conceptual circuit designs, drafting supplier specifications, and reviewing validation plans for integrating various electrical subsystems including energy storage and powerdistribution3. Working on electro-mechanical integration, drawings, and grounding bonds using voltage class separation and mechanical protection of wires and cables4. Calculating grounding, EMI, AND circuit protection systems5. Reviewing and ensuring compliance of railway-based standards and regulations6. Coordinating and co-developing technical solutions with suppliers and end-customers internal and external7. Working with SAP as an ERP or PLM system 10% Domestic and International Travel Required.
