Solution Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their team.

Reporting to the Manager of Solution Architecture, you will serve as a technical visionary and leader for business-critical, integrated applications. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and modern technology stacks, ensuring architectural integrity while aggressively reducing technical debt.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture, ensuring all solutions align with long-term Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategies.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve design quality and streamline development processes.
• Define patterns for Cloud-native services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), managing complexity across cloud, on-premise, and national system environments.
• Oversee the Solution Architecture repository (Application, Data, and Integration artifacts) and enforce policies to ensure consistent data management.
• Act as the primary architectural link between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure solutions solve real-world problems.
• Manage technical relationships with external vendors to ensure deliverables meet strict architectural specifications.

Technical Qualifications

• University degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years dedicated to solution architecture planning, design, and implementation.
• Proven ability to use UML modeling and layered design (presentation, application, domain, data) to ensure scalability and security.
• Tech Stack Proficiency:

o Backend: Java/J2EE, Spring, Python.

o Frontend: Angular, Node.Js.

o Cloud/Data: Azure (preferred), Kubernetes, or Apache Spark.

• System Evolution: Experience reverse-engineering legacy codebases to design modernization approaches and remediate defects.
• Diagnostics: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues across application and data layers.
