Job Title: Power Platform Solution Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic advisory skills, driving innovation through next-generation capabilities such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps code apps, and agentic Power Pages.

Key Responsibilities

Solutioning & Enterprise Architecture

Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engagements, translating complex business requirements into enterprise-grade technical designs across Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. Own entity relationship models, data architecture, and integration blueprints spanning multiple systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Direct data governance frameworks leveraging Azure Data Catalog and Azure Key Vault. Present architecture diagrams and design rationale to senior stakeholders to secure sign-off on critical initiatives.

Platform Development Leadership & Standards

Architect reusable, intelligent automation frameworks using Power Automate and Azure Functions. Direct development of Power Apps code apps and drive agentic Power Pages implementations for secure, intelligent external experiences. Establish coding standards and architectural patterns, conduct architecture-level design/code reviews, and define automation testing and CI/CD frameworks. Evaluate emerging Power Platform/Azure capabilities for adoption.

Strategic Advisory & Complex Problem Resolution

Serve as trusted advisor to customers and leadership on complex business cases, proposing architecture-driven solutions. Lead Architecture Review Board sessions with Microsoft Solution Architects and conduct Threat Modeling exercises. Design autonomous and on-demand agents using Copilot Studio. Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for high-severity production issues.

Governance, Mentorship & Delivery Enablement

Establish governance guardrails and best practices across the platform landscape. Mentor developers and emerging lead developers. Author technical/functional design documentation and system integration specifications. Partner on effort/timeline estimation and oversee transitions to QA/support teams. Leverage Power Platform generative development capabilities to accelerate delivery.

Platform Stability, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Own platform stability and non-functional requirements compliance; direct monitoring across workflows, plugins, integrations, and Azure services. Lead root-cause analysis for defects in QA, UAT, and post-production. Conduct cost-benefit/ROI analysis for technical changes. Contribute to business reviews with senior management. Continually modernize the platform per Microsoft's latest releases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 10+ years progressive experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform, including prior Lead Developer/Technical Architect experience
• Strong hands-on expertise: Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio), C#, .NET, Web API, SQL Server
• Experience with plugins, workflows, business process flows, and Azure integrations (Functions, Data Lake, Key Vault, Data Catalog)
• Proven track record of architecture design, technical documentation, and stakeholder advisory
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Solution Architect, Dynamics 365, Azure)
• Experience with agentic/AI-driven development (Copilot Studio, generative app development)

The pay range for this role is $85-$88/hr including any bonuses or variable pay.
