Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Architecture Lead - Appian & Cloud position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 11 months Duties: Lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects while establishing architecture standards, governance, and best practices. Define solution and enterprise architecture strategies, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives aligned with business objectives. Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications using the Appian platform. Drive enterprise application integration, APIs, microservices, intelligent automation, and cloud-native solutions. Design and oversee secure, highly available web and mobile applications across AWS and hybrid cloud environments. Partner with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Provide architecture governance and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Drive application modernization, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, performance engineering, and platform reliability initiatives. Evaluate and incorporate AI/ML and intelligent automation capabilities into enterprise solutions where appropriate. Establish and enforce security practices including IAM, API security, Secure SDLC, and data protection. Coach and mentor architects and engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex architecture, integration, performance, and production issues. Skills: Solution & Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, Governance, and Roadmap Planning Strong Appian platform and enterprise application development expertise Cloud architecture and AWS Enterprise web/mobile solutions and application modernization APIs, microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka, and enterprise integration DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development AI/ML solutions and intelligent automation IAM, application/API security, and Secure SDLC Data architecture, relational and NoSQL databases Performance engineering, monitoring, and observability Splunk and AWS CloudWatch Strong stakeholder management and executive communication Team leadership, coaching, and mentoring Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, and Technology Leadership. 3-5+ years leading Solution Architects, architecture practices, or engineering teams. Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale digital platforms, customer-facing web/mobile applications, and cloud-native solutions. Demonstrated experience with Appian architecture, enterprise integration, workflow automation, and application modernization. Strong experience with AWS, APIs, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise technology platforms. Experience leading architecture governance, technology strategy, and complex digital transformation initiatives. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Appian, AWS, or other relevant architecture certifications are a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
