Solution Consultant, Data & Analytics

Position Summary

The Solution Consultant serves as a technical and business leader responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of enterprise data, reporting, and analytics solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance data platforms and reporting solutions. The consultant leads solution architecture, data modeling, reporting strategy, and analytics enablement while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, data governance, and organizational objectives

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Define target-state data architecture, solution roadmaps, integration patterns, and scalability strategies.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, data models, reporting frameworks, and analytics solutions.
• Develop reusable solution patterns, standards, and best practices to accelerate delivery and improve maintainability.

Data Platform & Engineering Leadership

• Design and implement modern cloud-based data platforms capable of processing and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Lead development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and automated data integration frameworks.
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, scalability, security, and governance across enterprise data assets.
• Partner with IT, architecture, and business teams to align platform capabilities with strategic business priorities.

Data Modeling & Analytics

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting operational, financial, clinical, and strategic reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain enterprise semantic models, dimensional models, and curated data products.
• Drive the implementation of advanced data validation, testing, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Support predictive, descriptive, and diagnostic analytics initiatives through robust data engineering practices.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Lead design and delivery of executive dashboards, operational scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Develop scalable reporting architectures leveraging enterprise BI platforms.
• Provide expertise in KPI development, metric standardization, performance monitoring, and visualization best practices.
• Enable business stakeholders to leverage data for decision-making through actionable insights and analytical storytelling.

Stakeholder & Program Leadership

• Partner with executive leaders, business sponsors, product owners, and technical teams to prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, solution reviews, design sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate work across onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful execution of complex projects.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across analytics and engineering initiatives.

Technical Qualifications

Required Skills

• Advanced experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
• Advanced data modeling experience including dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and semantic layer design.
• Experience building large-scale data pipelines, data marts, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
• Extensive experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing automated data quality, validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud data architectures, data governance, and metadata management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise analytics solutions supporting operational and executive reporting.
• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, KPI frameworks, and enterprise performance management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, large-scale analytics programs.
