Our client, a leading global technology and engineering services organization, is seeking a senior technical leader to drive solution development across Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Thread, and lifecycle data governance engagements within the semiconductor and advanced electronics industry.
\n
This is a senior individual contributor role serving as a technical and solutioning authority in client-facing environments. The leader will bring deep expertise in how semiconductor and high-tech organizations manage engineering data, design artifacts, product configurations, and lifecycle information across complex product ecosystems. This role does not carry a sales quota.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
Define solution approaches for PLM implementation, migration, modernization, and integration programs, including platform selection, data modeling, BOM management, change control, and configuration management.
\n
Architect Digital Thread solutions connecting engineering and design data (EDA, CAD, simulation), manufacturing data (MES, process specifications, quality records), and supply chain information into traceable end-to-end data flows.
\n
Shape engagement and delivery models for PLM modernization, including legacy system retirement, platform consolidation, and cloud migration of product data environments.
\n
Partner directly with engineering data leaders, CAD/EDA administrators, enterprise and IT architects, and product engineering executives to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions.
\n
Develop reusable solution patterns, reference architectures, and delivery playbooks for PLM and Digital Thread engagements.
\n
Contribute thought leadership around Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Twin integration, and AI-assisted engineering change and impact analysis.
\n
\n
Key Selection Criteria
\n
Required
\n
\n
15+ years of experience across PLM, engineering data management, Digital Thread, or engineering transformation programs, ideally within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
\n
Deep expertise with at least one major PLM platform, such as:
\n
Siemens Teamcenter
\n
PTC Windchill
\n
Aras
\n
Comparable enterprise PLM platforms
\n
Strong understanding of PLM data models, system architectures, and integration patterns within complex engineering environments.
\n
Knowledge of semiconductor product data structures, including hierarchical BOMs, design revision management, IP block libraries, configuration management, and tape-out-to-manufacturing handoffs.
\n
Demonstrated ability to translate complex engineering and product-data requirements into client-facing solutions and transformation roadmaps.
\n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
\n
\n
Preferred
\n
\n
Experience with MBSE methodologies and their integration with enterprise PLM environments.
\n
Knowledge of Digital Twin and Digital Thread architectures.
\n
Understanding of product compliance and traceability requirements, including RoHS, REACH, ITAR, and conflict minerals reporting.
\n
Experience supporting large-scale PLM transformation, platform consolidation, or engineering data modernization initiatives.
