Big Data Architect
LOCATION SPECIFIC: REQUIRED HYBIRD ATTENDANCE 3X A WEEK FROM CLIENT OFFICE IN DALLAS/IRVING, TX OR JACKSONVILLE, FL.
6+ months role
Pay rate: $65/hr. on w2
ROLE: DATA SOLUTION ARCHITECT
MUST HAVE 7+ YRS OF CLOSELY APPLICABLE WORK EXPERIENCE. REQUIRED HYBIRD ATTENDANCE 3X A WEEK FROM CLIENT OFFICE IN DALLAS/IRVING, TX OR JACKSONVILLE, FL.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: BANKING & CAPITAL MAKETING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE, SPECIFICALLY IN THE FRAUD DOMAIN.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Design and develop a "Data as a Product" strategy for the domain.
• Develop target-state data architecture using modern techniques — lakehouse architectures and ETL-free architecture via data virtualization / data mesh.
• Define migration approach from legacy batch-ETL platforms toward the target architecture.
• Partner with Enterprise/Solution Architects on portfolio-level data architecture alignment.
• Extensive experience as a data architect on large-scale data platform modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on familiarity with lakehouse architecture, data mesh, and data virtualization approaches.
• Practical experience migrating legacy ETL platforms (e.g. Ab Initio, Informatica) to modern architectures is highly relevant.
