Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Solution Architect - Mythos Foundations position! This is a 12 - 18 month contract and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
Architect and design detailed physical solutions for the Mythos AI platform, translating enterprise conceptual and logical designs into actionable technical implementations that guide engineering teams
Lead the design and integration of core AI platform components including model lifecycle management, small language model (SLM) execution patterns, access controls, APIs, and embedded AI capabilities within business applications
Design and implement telemetry and observability frameworks to instrument model usage, performance monitoring, and risk signal detection across the AI platform
Establish guardrail enforcement mechanisms including policy controls, data protection measures, and safe usage constraints to ensure responsible AI deployment
Collaborate with domain leadership and enterprise architects to translate business capabilities and requirements into solution designs that align with architecture standards and financial targets
Partner closely with Agile engineering teams throughout the full SDLCfrom initiation through production deploymentproviding hands-on architecture guidance, design ersight, and ensuring adherence to scalability, security, and operational readiness standards
Apply model selection frameworks and decision trees to guide fit-for-purpose AI implementations aligned with cost, performance, and risk objectives
Promote secure engineering practices including threat modeling, vulnerability mitigation, and reliability engineering (SRE) principles across all AI platform initiatives
Participate in architecture governance activities and evaluate solution compliance with enterprise standards, feeding implementation insights back to evolve architecture patterns
Support cross-functional collaboration through active participation in Agile ceremonies and stakeholder engagement initiatives
What You'll Need to Have:
5+ years of relevant architecture and software engineering experience, or 9+ years combined education and work experience (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Strong expertise in AI/ML platform architecture with hands-on experience in model integration, deployment patterns, and AI application development
Proven experience designing and implementing solution architectures across multiple programming languages and cloud technologies
Solid understanding of API design, access control frameworks, telemetry instrumentation, and observability patterns
Demonstrated ability to translate conceptual architecture into detailed technical designs while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance requirements
Experience working in Agile environments with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders
Strong technical communication skills with the ability to articulate complex architecture decisions and tradeoffs to diverse audiences at all organizational levels
Experience with secure software engineering practices, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and reliability engineering principles
