Senior/Lead Solutions Architect focused on print platform migrations with a hands-on Lead Java/Kafka Cloud Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Solutions Architect to drive a critical legacy platform modernization initiative. This role focuses on supporting the target architecture definition and translating it into detailed solution designs for an enterprise print migration program. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams and external vendors to validate and implement modern integration patterns.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support target architecture definition for the enterprise print migration initiative.
- Develop detailed solution designs aligned to strict enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and external vendors to drive seamless technical implementation.
- Participate actively in formal architecture and design reviews.
- Identify, track, and escalate technical risks and design gaps proactively.
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
- 8-12+ years of experience in enterprise/solution architecture or senior engineering roles.
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise programs.
- Proven experience translating architecture into detailed designs.
- Strong integration pattern experience spanning API, batch, and event-driven architectures.
- Direct experience with document composition or print platforms.
- Demonstrated vendor coordination and solution validation experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Quadient Inspire or other document composition systems.
- Familiarity with commercial print vendor ecosystems.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted migration approaches.
- Cloud platform experience ( Azure heavily preferred).
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification.
- Prior industry background in Healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
- Specific expertise modernizing legacy platforms.
Mandatory Enterprise AI Skills
All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities:
- Maintain high usage of enterprise AI tools (e.g., Copilot).
- Leverage AI capabilities daily for coding, technical documentation, and data analysis.
- Continuously adopt new AI features to optimize delivery velocity and quality.
