A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Solutions Architect

Position Type:    Full-Time, Contract
Duration:            6 months Possible Extension
Location:             St Louis, MO

As a Solutions Architect, you will do:

Key Responsibilities

Gather and translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs
Design and document end-to-end architecture, including APIs, integrations, and workflows
Produce clear, high-quality technical documentation (architecture diagrams, process flows, system interactions)
Lead solution design discussions and collaborate closely with development teams
Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions
Support API design, integration strategies, and service orchestration
Continuously improve architecture standards and documentation practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or software engineering
Strong experience with Java-based systems and application architecture
Hands-on experience with APIs (RESTful services, integrations)
Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in telecommunications or mobile IT
Familiarity with tools like Postman and Chalk
Exposure to OSS/BSS, mobile platforms, or network integrations
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience leveraging AI tools for development or documentation

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:$55 - $60 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
