What You Will Do
Design and own end-to-end technical architectures for complex AI-powered software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between product requirements and engineering execution.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and research teams to translate business and research goals into actionable technical solutions.
Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and driving modernization efforts.
Define architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines across the software engineering organization.
Lead technical discovery and scoping sessions, providing clear and well-documented solution proposals.
Stay current with emerging trends in AI infrastructure, cloud architecture, and multimodal systems to inform forward-looking design decisions.
Ideal Candidate Background
5–10 years of experience in a solutions architect, software architect, or senior software engineering role with demonstrated architectural ownership.
Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, distributed software systems in production environments.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern infrastructure patterns.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with multimodal systems, generative AI tooling, or large-scale model serving is a strong asset.
Preferred
Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools (Fivetran, Merge, Workato), and data integration processes.
Experience working in or alongside AI, machine learning, or research-driven engineering organizations.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role is between $165K and $200K, with a competitive benefits package reflective of your experience and the impact of this role within the organization. This company is committed to offering a competitive package that recognizes your contributions.
