A Sneak Peek of Your Role 

This is a fully remote role. 

The Solutions Engineer serves as a strategic, technical leader within Instinct’s go-to-market organization, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive complex, enterprise-level opportunities. This role brings deep product expertise and strong business acumen to support the full sales lifecycle—shaping solution design, influencing product positioning, and ensuring successful customer outcomes from initial engagement through implementation.

As a member of the sales organization, the Solutions Engineer helps scale a high-performing sales motion by leading high-impact demonstrations, enabling field teams, and providing mentorship to less-experienced team members. By translating customer needs into clear technical and business value, and by channeling field insights back into product development, this role plays a central part in maximizing customer value and supporting Instinct’s continued growth.

What You'll Do ️

• Partner with Sales to drive complex and strategic opportunities from discovery to close.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and in-depth product demonstrations for prospective enterprise customers.
• Translate customer business challenges into tailored solution proposals.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging, collateral, and demo narratives that resonate with veterinary decision-makers.
• Work cross-functionally with Product to relay field insights, influence roadmap priorities, and validate new feature releases.
• Support sales enablement efforts by training new hires, delivering advanced product sessions, and maintaining demo environments.
• Participate in on-site customer engagements, conferences, and enterprise value assessments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor both internally and externally.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Act as a peer leader for other Solutions Engineers, supporting skill development, sharing expertise, and helping standardize tools, demos, and sales enablement materials.

Who You Are ‍

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related pre-sales roles.
• Experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Veterinary industry experience.
• Strong presentation and storytelling ability, with a consultative approach.

• Instinct Science PIMs experience.
• HubSpot or CRM proficiency.

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000. This range reflects a mix of base salary and variable compensation earned through performance, and actual compensation will be determined through a variety of factors including the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
