Our client is seeking a self-directed, high-impact Solutions Marketing Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to own the positioning, packaging, and go-to-market narrative for their cutting-edge frontline technology solutions.
This is a premier opportunity to join an elite, dual-use technology company that has secured a $200M US Army contract and forged powerful partnerships with Northrop Grumman, Palantir, and Qualcomm—all within their first three years of operation.
In this critical individual contributor (IC) role, you will transition founder-led, deal-by-deal narratives into scalable, audience-specific solution positioning. If you have genuine passion for frontline workers, a talent for packaging complex hardware plus software platforms, and the startup grit to thrive in ambiguity, this role is built for you.
What You Will Be Doing
Targeted Positioning: Develop audience-specific solution positioning and messaging for core verticals (military maintenance, commercial aviation, fleet operations)—translating our client's integrated hardware plus software platform into clear, high-impact value propositions.
Scale GTM Assets: Build comprehensive go-to-market playbooks and commercial collateral that enable the sales team to execute at scale, turning founder-level insights into polished, repeatable materials.
Co-Marketing Partnerships: Partner closely with business and technology alliances (including defense primes, OEMs, and platforms like Palantir) to build joint positioning and co-marketing strategies.
Field-Driven Narratives: Get out of the office and into the field. You will visit army bases, flight lines, and industrial facilities to deeply understand frontline operations, ensuring the marketing narrative directly aligns with real-world outcomes (e.g., higher fleet readiness, faster resolution times).
End-to-End Quality Ownership: Hold the pen and own the quality bar on all external-facing materials—including solution narratives, federal proposal inputs, website copy, and event assets—with complete autonomy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5–8 years of dedicated product or solutions marketing experience, specifically with integrated hardware plus software systems sold to defense, industrial, or frontline customers.
Proven Track Record: Experience packaging and launching brand-new offerings from scratch (not just iterating on existing SKUs or running brand/PR campaigns).
Partner Alignment: Experience executing joint marketing initiatives with defense primes or elite tech partners (e.g., Palantir, Northrop Grumman).
Technical Aptitude: A STEM or technical academic background is highly preferred, enabling you to grasp and translate complex technical architectures easily.
Security & Location: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Must be based in the Washington, DC area (no relocation assistance provided).
