This position will involve leading the design and development of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems for our clients within particular CPM specialty areas.Responsibilities:Own the design and development of specialty build areas of the technical architecture on CPM projects, typically full-time on one client engagement.Provide solution architectural assessments, design strategies, and development roadmaps within a particular specialty area (integration, model build, marketplace planning, user experience, etc.)Possess knowledge of financial reporting and processes in specialty functional areas.Understand the connections between technical solution possibilities and functional business requirements, and logically communicate the pros and cons of different approaches.Document discovery/requirements and detailed design options.Create and maintain baseline implementation instructions, check lists, and object trackers to help others implement and track status of solution build.Identify solutions to present to Solutions Review Group for standardization/productionizing/marketing.Gain understanding of Finit's skillset and capabilities in various solution delivery areas and determine how to share them to develop others.Assess/test/share knowledge of newly released features/solutions and understand impact to current solutions and "best" practices.Build and develop authentic client and Finit relationships.Ensure a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects.Provide real-time on-the-job feedback to team members.Play a key role in critical internal Finit activities, training, and employee enablement.Assume ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.Skills:Specialist will typically have 3-5 years' experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.Content/functional expertise in the several core EPM knowledge areas, including: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting.Possess an aptitude for technology and a basic understanding of system architecture and design requirements.Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders.Energized by projects with high degree of uncertainty.
