    Location: Boise, Idaho
    Salary Range: $58 – $58 per year
    Position Summary
    A leading healthcare organization in Boise, Idaho is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join their diagnostic imaging department.     Core Responsibilities
    As a Sonographer, you will perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple anatomical areas and clinical applications. Your daily responsibilities will include:
    • Operating advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images of internal body structures
    • Preparing patients for procedures, explaining examination processes, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout appointments
    • Positioning patients appropriately to optimize imaging angles and obtain accurate diagnostic data
    • Documenting examination findings, technical parameters, and observations in patient medical records
    • Communicating effectively with radiologists and physicians regarding examination results and clinical findings
    • Maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the imaging department
    • Following established quality assurance procedures to ensure diagnostic accuracy and image quality
    • Managing patient flow efficiently to meet departmental scheduling requirements
    • Staying current with ultrasound technology advancements and best practices in diagnostic sonography
    • Contributing to a collaborative, professional healthcare environment that prioritizes patient care excellence

    Must-Have Requirements
    Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
    • Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in at least one specialty area
    • Minimum two years of documented diagnostic sonography experience in a clinical healthcare setting
    • Proficiency operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and associated imaging software
    • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to ultrasound imaging
    • Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify and document anatomical variations and abnormalities
    • Professional communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with patients and healthcare team members
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards
    • Physical capability to perform the role, including standing for extended periods and performing repetitive scanning motions
    • Flexibility to work onsite in Boise, Idaho with established schedule adherence
    • Valid state licensure if required by Idaho regulations for sonography practice
