Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality sonographic scans adhering to protocol and safety standards.

  • Capture, analyze, and document imaging findings for accurate diagnosis.

  • Meet daily/weekly productivity targets through consistent throughput and quality.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies at all times.

  • Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging studies and results follow-up.

  • Document patient information accurately and ensure compliant charting and coding.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and pursue advanced sonography credentials.

  • Maintain and sterilize ultrasound equipment; ensure calibration and quality assurance.

  • Educate patients about procedures, consent, and post-procedure instructions.

  • Participate in pipeline-based territory planning to optimize imaging coverage and referrals.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and professional growth.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Certified or eligible for Sonography Licensure in Iowa.

  • Perform high-quality obstetric/abdominal vascular sonography per protocol.

  • Accurate documentation and compliant charting and coding practices.

  • Regulatory and facility policy compliance at all times.

  • Proven ability to meet daily/weekly productivity targets with quality focus.

  • Equipment maintenance, cleanliness, calibration, and QA/QA protocols.

  • Collaborate with physicians on imaging studies and follow-up.

  • Patient education about procedures, consent, and post-procedure care.

  • Pursue ongoing professional development and advanced credentials.

  • Participate in pipeline-based territory planning for imaging coverage and referrals.
