    Job Summary

    Job Type: Part Time 2 - Per Diem

    Job Shift: Rotating

    Holiday Rotation:

    Department: Ultrasound

    Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment in a safe manner while exercising independent judgment in order to obtain diagnostic images on patients of all ages for subsequent evaluation by a qualified physician.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    Must have completed an Ultrasound Academic Program.

    Minimum Experience/Skills:

    1+ years experience as an Sonographer is preferred.

    License/Certificates/Credentials:

    Must be registered by ARDMS. RDMS is required at time of hire with a certification in one of the three specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular). The second specialty certification must be obtained within 12 months and the third specialty certification must be obtain within 18 months. All three specialties must be obtained within 18 months as a condition of employment. Must have current BLS Certification.
